Black Mirror - Season 1

We were originally approached by Painting Practice to help on the original series, and all digital effects were completed by Invisible Arts on this introduction to Black Mirror.
From screen replacements on ‘The National Anthem’ to the stylised set builds on ‘Fifteen Million Merits’ where we had to create composited sequences to fit perfectly with the prison like settings of this episode for which Painting Practice provided production design services, this was a series that needed a close working relationship, and on ‘The Entire History of You’ we worked very closely with Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn to create the look of the graphic interfaces in the taxi and airport scenes as well as the very specific look of the eyes which we wanted to look organic and not mechanical in any way, still my favourite episode.
